Edwin Salas (墨西哥)
自小即踏入人偶的世界。12歲就在親友的私人派對和哥斯大黎加的學校裡公開表演人偶戲。
2000年與義大利人偶師Trentin Maria Teresa共同成立了紙魔力劇團 (Brujerias de Papel)。過去13年間參加了世界各國至少146個藝術節，包括義大利、法國、西班牙、瑞士、墨西哥、古巴、尼加拉瓜、哥斯大黎加、哥倫比亞、厄瓜多、瓜地馬拉、和台灣。表演之餘，Salas也在世界各地辦工作坊，交流製作木偶的知識與經驗。基於社會關懷，Salas曾在墨西哥許多原住民部落公演，也在兒童醫院和精神病院中演出。
2011年與木笛演奏家Mónica López Lau共同組成了“Kaput Project"：結合音樂，多媒體與人偶表演的跨界組合。
最新劇作"The falling love"(消逝的愛) 呈現愛情在時間中流變的樣貌。最初的愛給生命帶來一道光芒，充滿喜悅，然而經由時間的流逝，年華老去，愛也漸漸變質，倦怠，嫉妒，背叛，否認...不可避免的愛的悲劇。
Salas的表演充滿詩意，在極簡的劇台上善用象徵動作與物件，人偶在他手中比活人更有生命力。

When I was 12 year old, I
started in the world of puppets, giving functions at private parties
with my little teatrino "The pingüinico". At the age of 13 I
submitted my presentation in front of 500 people at the Liceo of Costa
Rica.
Years later, in Mexico I was invited to prepare an art workshop to give
in Infiernillo, Michoacán, months later I built a "Don
Fortunato" that it’s a direct manipulation doll of a story
teller. With this I appeared in a circus tent in Real de Catorce, S.LP.
in 1998.
In 2000 I co-founded the puppet company "Brujerias de Papel" involved
in the production of nine shows, a short film, a television program for
the Italian web "Fiorentina" - and puppets for other companies and
private collectors.
2000- 2012. The last twelve years the company embarks on 146 festivals
by the following countries: Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Mexico,
Cuba, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala and Taiwan.
Because they make wooden puppets and various mechanisms, I shared my
experience through workshops and production of shows with beginners and
professionals in different countries, to companies or puppet theater,
as “La Cartelera" of Querétaro, the UAS
“Guiñoleros” those of Mexico's and
"Mother Earth" of Colombia, and the puppet group “Andarte
Sonando” the “Charade” of Guatemala,
Sinaloa “Delta Theater”, also in universities and
cultural centers.
As I've been in social work with the Wirrarica communities of Jalisco,
in conferences organized by the company "La Cucaracha" and Yoremes
communities in Sonora led by "Delta Theatre".
Compromised with the social situation, I performed in many indigenous
areas of Mexico, pediatric hospitals, psychiatric and prisons.
Finally, the performance takes to work with the "Sinaloa Symphony
Orchestra" with the show “Cuadros de una
exposición” in 2009.
That same year join to the Scholarship Program FONCA stage creators,
and in 2010 with the show "Bienaventurados" is selected for the "V
Meeting of Performing Arts."
In 2011 co-founded the ensemble of puppets "Kaput Project" with flutist
Monica Lopez Lau, now works with "Butoh Chilango" Tanya Galindo, "A Poc
a Poc dance" Jaime Camarena, with the group "Ingeniescena" and begins
to coordinate with Quiche theater groups from Guatemala. And recently
produced puppets for a commercial "Scribe" (Kimberly Clarck) in 3D.
